Uninsured drivers! There are a lot of people in Phoenix that don't have insurance and it always seems like they are the ones who cause an accident! I'm forced to pay a higher premium to protect against it or else pay a much bigger price if I didn't. Yes, insurance sucks and if you don't get in an accident, you should get your money back but that's just not how it is!

 

Out of the blue scam call telling me to contact a phone number immediately for place I have never shopped at.

Unless I have an imaginary girlfriend that I am buying something for.

Even worse the person who left message said "You then my name".

I will not call but report them to BBB.

 

When I place a big online order to get the free shipping and then realize I forgot something, which I now have to order separately and pay shipping on

 

Honestly - most things belong in the 'Things That Don't Piss You Off But are Irritating' thread, but the neighbors have this crazy fucking dog that barks and barks whenever anybody comes in proximity to his backyard.

So, I go out in my yard and this maniacal mutt starts barking and hurling himself at the wooden fence (8 feet high) that separates us, and he physically bends it back (it's old). The dog owners laugh off any concerns of the neighbors - I presume on both sides of the property - "He's just protective".

If he ever breaks that fence and attacks me in my yard - that dog will die.

That whole scenario, but especially the cavalier attitude of the owner really pisses me off. I would never want to kill a dog because his owner refused to train him correctly.

 

A dog on our walking route is like that.
Started talking to the mutt, then started tossing him doggie treats and finally was able to pet him.

Owner bitched one day to leave the dog alone, but too late, we're friends.

 

Our Maltese is a very big dog in a tiny body, she barks at any body (or animal) who dares approach the boat. Once off the boat she’s a quiet cutie, except for strange big dogs. Her demise may well come from confronting the wrong dog.

 

Regular readers recall that Shooter very much likes his neighbors. Friendly, helpful, fun to know.
Except Mrs. Kravitz. She lives behind us and one lot over. She's a bitch, is Mrs. Kravitz.
So anyway, Mrs. Kravitz apparently crawled out of her den from hibernating. Haven't seen or heard the old bat since last fall.
Until last night. There was flashing light and then a laser beam of light came through our back door. Thought at first it was a plane about to crash into our house. Went to look, and the light was coming from Mrs. Kravitz deck. The old bitch had gotten a serious flood light somewhere and was shining it our way.

Called out, "What's with the light?" and the old bitch comes back with "Your light shines in our yard!" So, we have a security light that is motion activated and it will go on when critters pass through, which happens maybe a couple times a week. For the record, the light is a 60 watt LED light, about as bright as a candle. And it's a good 75 feet from their "yard", and there are trees.

What the fuck. The light Mrs. Kravitz was shining had to be one of them marine spotlights. Bitch. Then the cops show up. They said they'd had a complaint about someone shining lights from our yard into the neighbors (!) Really. Showed the cop our light, explained the history of Mrs. Kravitz, and he said they had answered calls in the neighborhood that were pretty much harassment calls, which, you know, told Shooter all he needed to know about that, and the cop goes away.

Shooter couldn't help it. He tried. He really tried, but he's only human.
Shooter hadda pee about 3AM.
So he got his work light, a too bright for close work light that is about like the high beam on a semi, and shined it straight into Mrs. Kravitz's bedroom. Woke the old bitch up, and Shooter could hear her cackling and cawing.

Cops showed up 15 minutes later. Same cop. Shooter was all "Light? There was light? Huh. We were sleeping..........."

Looks like it will be a long fucking summer.

 

I knew this was coming. I take the back road home in the morning.

45, 55 mph most of the way.

Some genius in the huge full size truck they just had to have wouldn't do the speed limit.

This isn't a work truck. When gas was affordable they decided to buy that truck.

So I'm behind them looking for an opportunity to pass.

Speed limit went to 45. I slowed to 45.

Don't know why but they were going faster, great.

It's 55 again, I had lots of space because they kept going @50? Dunno.

Well I caught up with them really fast just getting up to 55 mph.

They still want to do 50 or so.

Had a chance to pass, I did.

Now genius can move, and flash their hi beams at me.

Hey idiot, you weren't doing the speed limit, what the F is your problem that I passed you?

You can't afford gas for that huge truck you just had to have, that's not my problem.

Lead, follow or get the fuck out of the way.

I don't know what pisses me off, I fly off the handle randomly, it's great fun, do you really need a reason? Would you like cream and sugar in your coffee? Animals, I have a sixth sense with most animals, no big thing many people have the same. Big to little, tough or cute, The instant feeling, as with dogs, this one is happy wants to make a friend and get a pat on the head. Or OK I see you, you see me, you stay there, and I'll gone.
Little animals are usually funny, there is one,that really pisses me off, never had any kind of admiration for, that is the wessel.
You know what they look like, right? You may think so, but the wessel, can look like a lot of others, in the field of small animals, plus they hide, sneaky wessels. They go about as if doing no harm to anything. When no one is looking they tear shit up, and the racoon gets the blame. Dig up the yard, and gophers get the blame. They just piss me off.

Oh one more thing, if wessels could talk, they would be like people who can't hear enough of their own voice.
