Over the weekend, Chiefs played to a 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy despite taking the lead at the New Peter Mokhaba Stadium.

Chiefs struggling this season

Chiefs find themselves eighth on the Betway Premiership log, seven points away fro CAF positions. Currently the third spot is occupied by Sekhukhune United, who also have a game in hand over Amakhosi. The Soweto giants are also now three games without a win, as their task gets tougher and tougher.

With Chiefs needing any type of intervention and advantage at this point, one seems not to have worked.

According to Soccer Laduma, they have decided to pull the plug on their use of muti!

Amakhosi give up on muti men!

“You see the problem has been many muti men have been believed to have worked with the team (Chiefs) but nothing changed. No, the management apparently doesn’t think the muti will help the team at this point and that’s why they have decided to stop using it. After the Golden Arrows game they saw that it doesn’t help and they apparently, there and then, decided that it’s a waste of money and time and so it’s better they play their normal game without using muti,” said one source to the same publication.

A second source said claimed that coach Nabi had no problem with Chiefs using muti.

“Remember he (Nabi) has been in DRC and Tanzania and you know in East Africa muti is very strong in their football and he knew it from there so he didn’t have a problem when the club was using it and I don’t think he will have a problem not using it in the remaining games of the season. That’s the situation right now,” said a second source.

Do you think it works?
