So what is President Biden really saying here? Well even though is was proven a total fraud with Ronald Reagan "trickle down economics" is the favorite lie conservative/Republicans try to tell when they want to cut taxes on the 1%. That somehow if they cut taxes on the rich those tax savings will "trickle" down to everyone else. Its never worked once including the last time that gave a trillion dollars to 1% at the experience of the 99% and another $3.9 trillion during the pandemic. Which means President Biden is actually foreshadowing his next move. Taxes on the 1% are going to go up. Just like he said during the campaign which helped him get elected.

 

Found something new that the democrats put into the covid relief bill. This one surprised me.

States “shall not use the funds,” the bill says, “to either directly or indirectly [our emphasis] offset a reduction in the net tax revenue” that results “from a change in law, regulation, or administrative interpretation during the covered period that reduces any tax (by providing for a reduction in a rate, a rebate, a deduction, a credit, or otherwise) or delays the imposition of any tax or tax increase.”

 

You and the other conservative/Republicans need to keep looking for what the COVID 19 relief bill really is because President Biden and the Democrats just threw that fast ball right past you.

Back in 1986 President Reagan famously said,

And since that point despicable and deplorable alike have tried to outdo each other promising that they are all for a smaller, less invasive, less expensive, more efficient federal government. Of course, despicables only give it lip service, but still, at least they acknowledged that what America has wanted is a smaller, less invasive, less expensive, more efficient federal government.

And then Covid, and the old standard of "never waste a crisis" surfaces, and in almost no time at all we've seen $5 TRILLION in "relief" for hard pressed Americans. Course, only a few dollars of that massive pork actually made it into Americans pockets. Most of it went up in flames in the form of massive, embarrassing fraudulent unemployment claims, and aid to businesses that, depending on who was complaining, were either despicable or deplorable corrupt business leaders sucking on the government teat.
And then we had the truly silly pork that had fuck all to do with covid; aid for the humanities, saving native languages, aid for countries that hadn't even asked for it, and Shooters personal favorites; $1.5 MILLION for Chuck Schumer's bridge between Canada and the United States and $115 MILLION for Nancy Antoinette's BART tunnel. The last time Nancy got her rail funding she and hubby saw and almost overnight tripling in the value of one of their office buildings cause, you know, oh my gosh, that light rail line got moved over to be really close to their building and how the hell did that happen? (chuckle)

And now we see media touting the wonders of the biden/harris administration and their tireless work bringing us not only life saving assistance to, you know, raise kids in this brave new world, but also a life saving vaccine that of course, the prior administration had nothing to do with. Course, if a few baubles fall off the bling truck launched by biden/harris, and land in their pockets, well what the hell? They've earned it, don't we all agree?
